We are delighted to welcome back one of our long-standing players, Liam Finnegan‑Vyse, who has returned to Cornwall Powerchair Football Club after a four-year hiatus while studying at university.

Liam has been part of the Cornwall PFC journey for many years, and his return is a genuinely special moment for the club. University life quite rightly took priority for a time, but seeing him back on court is a reminder of the strong connections that endure well beyond weekly training sessions.

Returning after several years away is no small thing. The game evolves, teams change, and life moves on. What has not changed is Liam’s commitment, presence and the experience he brings with him. His return strengthens the squad and adds depth both on and off the court.

Cornwall PFC has always been about more than football. It is about belonging, continuity and knowing that there is always a place for you, even after time away. Liam’s return reflects that ethos perfectly.

We are proud to have him back as part of the team and look forward to seeing him back in action as the season progresses. Welcome home, Liam.
